All dentists must have the DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) degree or a DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine), which requires a minimum of 4 years of dental school. To become dentists, after college they must get a license from the state which is granted only after a board examination is passed or a residency in dentistry is completed.

Dr. Abdullah Al Qaraghuli
Dr. Abdullah Al Qaraghuli, an esteemed dentist serving the Rochester, NY community, is renowned for his unwavering dedication to superior dental care and the advancement of oral health. Dr. Ayah Mobied
Buhite & Buhite Family & Implant Dentistry welcomed Associate Dentist, Dr. Ayah Mobied in July 2025. Our practice appreciates all of Dr. Mobied's positive contributions. She warmly welcomes both new and existing patients, ensuring a friendly and professional environment.
Dr. Ayah Mobied earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. She further advanced her clinical training by completing a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at Eastman Dental Center in Rochester, NY. During her residency, she strengthened her expertise in comprehensive restorative dentistry, implant planning and restoration, surgical procedures, and the management of complex dental cases.
Before returning to New York, Dr. Mobied lived and practiced in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, where she earned her first dental degree from Ajman University and graduated with strong clinical distinction. Living in such a diverse, international city allowed her to care for patients from many cultural backgrounds and develop a broad, well-rounded approach to dentistry. Beyond her clinical training, Dr. Mobied is deeply committed to service. She has participated in international dental outreach initiatives in Nepal, India, Jordan, and Turkey, providing treatment and oral health education to underserved communities. These experiences shaped her compassionate philosophy and reinforced her belief that access to quality dental care can truly change lives.
Dr. Mobied is known for her warm, patient-centered approach. She believes dentistry is both a science and an art, requiring precision, attention to detail, and clear communication. She takes time to ensure every patient feels comfortable, heard, and confident in their treatment decisions.
Outside the office, Dr. Mobied enjoys spending time with her family, exploring upstate New York, and staying active in the community. She is committed to continuing education and staying current with the latest advancements in dentistry to provide the highest standard of care.
