Our own Dr. Robert Buhite Sr. was recently recognized for his involvement in a generous donation to the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine that will be used to develop the Buhite-DiMino Center for Implant Dentistry. Buhite Sr. is a leading expert in Implant Dentistry, and has received numerous honors and accolades for his work. In addition to practicing at Buhite & Buhite, DDS, he is also the founder and director of the Implant Dentistry program at UB and continues to teach there.
The Buhite-DiMino Center for Implant Dentistry
When a long-time patient of Dr. Buhite Sr., Frank DiMino, offered to make a generous donation as a result of the great care he had received, Dr. Buhite Sr. graciously accepted the gift. As a result, the concept for the Buhite-DiMino Center for Implant Dentistry was realized and is now in development.
The implant center will be a state-of-the-art facility designed to provide the most innovative and comprehensive dental implant care for patients. It will also be a location for research in Implant Dentistry to help support further advances in the science. Dr. Buhite Sr. is directly involved in all aspects of the implant center, ensuring that the resulting center represents his vision and exemplifies the best in dental implant care.
